Ascential built a portfolio of business-to-business events, data and advisory products, best known for the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, the trend forecasting service WGSN and the payments conference Money20/20. The company was formed out of the older EMAP publishing group and listed in London before being acquired by Informa in 2024. Its events remain fixtures of the marketing, retail and fintech calendars.
