Comedian Jenny Jaffe Opens Up about her Struggles with Mental Illness

There isn't a person whom mental illness hasn't affected.  

Having faced her own struggles, Jenny Jaffe founded Project UROK (projecturok.org) to help others combat the isolation of mental illness through funny and meaningful videos.  

Hear Jenny candidly discuss her journey, what led her to found Project UROK and her advice for those facing a difficult time.

    Mental illness is such an important issue that affects so many--if not all--people, and it still remains a taboo topic. I think this is changing, but there is still a lot of work to be done, and Jenny Jaffe is helping make that happen.

      Thanks so much for your comment. I agree with all that you wrote and, even though it's not included in this post, Jenny and I talked about how mental illness is still taboo. That's why the work of Project UROK is so important. In addition to helping people realize that they aren't alone, they are helping to de-stigmatize mental illness.
