"“Right from the start, what struck me was how much support I felt I had, along with a genuine concern for each other’s success across the team,” Shin said, now Munchkin’s director of e-commerce marketing. “Our department head mentioned that empathy was important to him and to the team, and that set the example for what I should consider to be our culture here.”"

Social impact

At Munchkin, we believe we must consciously contribute to causes that protect our future.  Becoming the most loved baby lifestyle brand in the world is indeed a lofty company mission and we take it seriously. Love extends far beyond the heaps of it that our 300+ employees put into our daily work; it means sharing it with those who need it the most.

Munchkin 2021 Sustainability Report, entitled "Change Can Not Wait"
As a producer of consumer goods for families and parents, we work to a sustainable future for our kids.  We have programs in place to reduce our waste, cut emissions and fund environmental organizations. But let’s get real, over 80% of our products are made from plastic. While plastic is absolutely the safest material for baby products, 91% of it is not recycled and ends up in our landfills and oceans for up to 1,000 years.

To learn more about what we are doing to work toward a more sustainable future, please read Munchkin’s 2021 Sustainability Report title “Change Cannot Wait.”

WildLove
As part of our important effort to save animal families from harm and extinction, we launched our WildLove Cups in 2019, an extension of our #1 Miracle® sippy cup product line.

All purchases support our donation to the International Fund for Animal Welfare (IFAW), a global non-profit helping animals and people thrive together.

Project Orca
Through Project Orca, we’ve donated over one million dollars to the Whale Sanctuary Project to establish a model sanctuary for whales and dolphins.

After 10 years of making a bath toy orca, we decided to put our principles over our profits. We removed the orca from Munchkin’s top-selling Sea Squirt Bath Toy Collection, because a bathtub isn’t big enough for an orca.

The Seedling Project
For every diaper pail sold, we plant a tree. To date, Munchkin has planted over 2 million trees through Trees for the Future and has committed to planting at least 1 million every year going forward.

This green program, titled The Seedling Project, was launched in 2015 and focuses on planting trees in inner cities, developing countries, and rainforests.

We Believe in the Value of Radiant Colors
Where each child is taught that differences are gifts and that diversity makes us stronger.

Created in June of 2020 by Munchkin, Radiant Colors donates 100% of every Monday’s profits from munchkin.com to organizations that support anti‑racism and inclusive education for our youngest generation.
