About me
Marlise Streitmatter joined LMI in 2013 and continues to serve the company in the position of senior consultant. Over the course of five years at LMI, she has established herself as a trusted advisor to senior government officials on strategy and operations, excelling in areas of organizational transformation, strategic communications and planning, change management, succession planning, and talent development. In this role she leads multi-million dollar projects for major government agencies, including the United States Department of Veterans Affairs and the U.S. Department of State. Ms. Streitmatter received LMI's prestigious Ignatius Award for her work on a team that exemplified the company's expertise, dedication, high standards, and commitment to addressing the toughest challenges in government. Prior to joining LMI, Marlise Streitmatter spent time as the deputy chief of staff with the U.S. Department of Transportation.
Ms. Streitmatter studied international policy and administration at the University of Illinois at Springfield, earning a BA with highest honors. She also undertook studies at Georgetown University and Illinois Central College, achieving an associate degree in medical technology from the latter institution. When away from work, Marlise Streitmatter engages in a number of community and charitable activities, and she played a pivotal role in establishing a local children’s museum in Peoria, Illinois.
