Manages the sale of the organization’s products or services through the distribution/retail sales channel (sales to distributors/dealers/agents or sales to retailers) on a national or geographic basis. Oversees the sale of the organization's products or services on a national or geographic basis. Responsible for attaining sales objectives on a district/regional basis. Typically responsible for a larger territory/industry/product line. May manage large part of regional market. Develops territory plans and participates in strategic and tactical planning. Interacts with executives and/or major customers.
This position will be located New Orleans, LA or Houston TX.Driving is an essential function of the job. Applicants must have a valid driver's license (may not be learner’s, restricted or “to and from work” license) and three consecutive years of active driving history immediately preceding the application that meets Sprint’s driver standards. This information will be verified in a Motor Vehicle Report. Applicants must also successfully complete driver's safety training and otherwise comply with Sprint's Driver Safety Policy and guidelines. Many positions are eligible for a company car based upon mileage and territory. Sprint company cars are authorized for personal use.
- Bachelor's degree and ten years related work experience or fourteen years related work experience post high school
- Ten years of progressive management experience in sales support or sales management
- Three years experience in investor activities and making presentations
- Three years of experience managing capital, operating expense, and labor budgets
- Multi-unit retail sales management experience
