About me
Janet Anderson of Gladewater, Texas, is a healthcare finance professional with 25 years of experience. Over the course of her career she has served a number of major health care providers in Texas and Nebraska, including the United Regional Health Care System in Wichita Falls and the Saunders Medical Center in Wahoo. She has enjoyed a number of major achievements in these and similar roles, such as leading a $33 million turnaround project at Good Shepherd Health System in Longview, Texas. More recently, Janet Anderson spent time as regional chief financial officer for UT Health Texas. Her responsibilities in this role involved financial oversight for two critical access hospitals, a 75-bed rural hospital, and three rural healthcare clinics all in need of restructuring.
Ms. Anderson studied both accounting and business administration at St. Martin’s University as a CPA scholarship recipient, graduating magna cum laude with a 3.8 grade point average. More recently, she received her master of business administration in healthcare from the University of Texas at Tyler. She maintains her public accountant certification in Texas and Washington State, having completed all four sections of the CPA exam on her first attempt.
