I think some of my early warning signs of burnout are that I tend to draw back, interact with coworkers less, and take less interest in my work. I get really distracted when I start to feel burnt out. I think for me, being able to be completely honest about it and how I'm feeling with my boss & coworkers is a great first step to combat the symptoms, because the guilt that accompanies them only tends to make them spiral. Then together with my boss, coming up with a plan to better organize my schedule, delegate tasks, tackle a project that excites me, or whatever the root may be. Looking forward to hearing other responses though since it doesn't always work out nicely like that!
