I gained my foundation in media and public relations with The Coca-Cola Company as a Media Analyst. Here I maintained media buys database, negotiation and purchase status of television, radio and print media for all brand accounts within media group. I also acted as communications lead and primary liaison between media buyers as well as category analyst to set media traffic for ad placement in various markets. This allowed me to prepare market and channel level presentations for national media plans by utilizing in-sight tools and lifestyle data (i.e., Neilsen, Soundscan, etc.).
The Coca-Cola Company was first established in 1886 by Dr John Styth Pemberton. Today, the company is the world's leading manufacturer in the beverage industry, operating globally in more than 200 countries with its head office located in Atlanta, USA. It produces more than 300 beverage brands and over 1.06 billion drinks are consumed per day around the world.

During my tenure at Southeastern Community College I afforded the opportunity to play many roles. First as a Public Relations Coordinator for the county's JobLink Career Center. Later I was asked to act as an Adjunct English Professor to guide students in English/Language Arts instruction.
Later I helped establish a $2.5M Welfare-to-Work (W-t-W) Department of Labor grant for rural communities. Here I facilitated partnerships with state, federal partners and key stakeholders to further strategic goals. I also created marketing strategies and implemented recruitment programs, inclusive of all collateral materials; as well as, technical writing needs.

Acting as a Public Relations/Marketing Consultant for a regional media company, Flowworks LLC I help produce and direct live web cast of the 1st Georgia Latina Pageant distributed to over 47 countries; I also coordinated Baby Phat/Phat Farm Launch Weekend, resulting in 75 % increase in sales (Macy’s). During that time I negotiated contracts and secured beverage sponsors for Atlanta Bike Fest; also oversaw value approximately $50K in revenue.
In addition, I produced video shorts and live streams for major brand activations (i.e. Essence Music Festival, Verizon Soul Beach, Versace Fashion/Music Tour, etc.). I further secured sponsorships to facilitate special events/campaign activations that provided face maximization and placement of human brands (i.e., athletes, artists & entertainers). And acted as a creative and technical writer for programming, website design and promotional packages; also provided guidance to staff and third party vendors.

The Sundance Film Festival is the premier showcase for independent film held each January in Park City, Utah. The festival comprises of competitive sections for American and international dramatic and documentary films, both feature-length films and short films.
