I grew up a child of technology.

My mother was a computer program in the 80s and I had my first computer in the 2nd grade

I was the first person that I knew with dial-up internet and I love to say, I grew up with technology in my DNA. One of the things that I am passionate about is exposing children to coding at a young age like I was.

It was this passion that drove me to start the Caribbean Institute of Technology. We feel that by teaching coding on the island of Puerto Rico, we can create upward mobility and bring a digital economy to traditionally poverty stricken communities on the island.

I am also a member of the Forbes Technology Council, an invite-only organization for technology executives and thought leaders. I am a writer and contributor to the technology column of Forbes Magazine, the #1 Entrepreneurial Publishcation in the World with over 55 Million Monthly Visitors.

I’ve won numerous hackathons sponsored by Fortune 500 tech companies like Google, IBM, Intel, Facebook and Microsoft, just to name a few and hosted by organizations including Rutgers University, the New Jersey Institute of Technology, and the AT&T Developer Summit in New York City.
