    PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND: My work's been published in national magazines, books and newspapers as well as in in-house corporate publications and licensed on rubber stamps and greeting cards. I left the freelance life in 2002 for a full time staff position but accepted commissions on a part-time basis. At this time, I focused on developing a more authentic, witty style and wrote more. My new work, landed a commission illustrating labels for a Connecticut Gourmet Ice cream company. In 2008 I discovered ETSY and opened a shop featuring my talent in writing funny stuff. My magnets and pinbacks featuring my own home-brewed wit have been published in holiday guides in the Huffington Post, Connecticut Magazine, CatFancy, and Nicole Magazine. They are a fun impulse buy and I offer them wholesale to Indie Gift Shops and Subscription Box services. My second ETSY shop features my illustrative witty wall decor and art products, as I continue to build this gallery shop with my own two hands I hope others will find my work as much fun as I have in creating each one.
