These videos will bring a tear to your eye. It popped up in my Youtube feed after finishing up some work for the evening. To reflect on this past weekend's events. How many people have to die before we all say enough? Last year I was graciously given the task of composing a journalistic piece about the storming of the wall upon the move of the embassy to Jerusalem. It broke my heart to hear, see, and compose what was happening. As someone who happens to essentially (yet fairly distantly) to be both it was difficult. It is beyond time for peace and most people really do want it. The world witnessed yet another terrorist attack in Sri Lanka over the weekend. There's been enough blood shed. There has to be an end to the blaming, the pointing of fingers, the hate spewing, discrimination, and deaths. When we speak of human life that is what matters be we Jew, Muslim, Christian, or any other faith. We have to take personal responsibility for how we view others, how we treat others, what are our biases, our expressions of those biases if any, and or actions. As the late great Aretha Franklin once sang THINK. Brothers and Sisters it's time we stop the fear, the hate, and killing of one another. If we don't what will we have left?
