I would like to thank you for many things, some of which, I might forget to include in this letter. I'll try my best to mention them all. Firstly, I'd like to thank you for your music. I'm kind of picky with the music I listen to but I absolutely love your music. I rarely like an album in its entirety and purchase it but I love every one of yours and appreciate every song on it. Whenever you would release a new album I can pre-order it with the utmost confidence that it will be worth my hard-earned money. I love you how you make it a point to give each album a distinct sound. Each one of them is certainly timeless and people will wish that they were living at the same time as you. After all, people don't buy more than 1 million copies of your albums within the first week for no reason. Each of your albums hold a special place in my heart. You're amazing at telling stories in such a way that I can hear and try to understand the emotion embedded in your songs and their lyrics. I can't wait to hear your next record and make it a part of my life.
Secondly, I'd like to thank you for the fact that you don’t engage in drama. Other people make it a point to butt heads with other people who may have said something that they don't particularly agree with. I can't claim to understand what you go through everyday for living in the public eye but I'm grateful that you use your time and energy on more important things like making people smile/lose their minds over you interacting with them on social media, making masterpieces in the studio, binge watching Grey's or even spending time with your cats. That's time well-spent, if you ask me.
Thirdly, I’d like to thank you for being so supportive of your fellow musicians. It’s really refreshing to see that level of support in an industry which can be pretty competitive.
Fourthly, I'd like to thank you for the person you've become. You continue to be kind, thoughtful, generous, caring, grateful, humble, loving, and so so funny. You never boast your many accomplishments and blessings. Other people in a similar position as you do and I appreciate the fact that you remain so down-to-earth despite all that you've achieved. Your generosity never fails to amaze me. Whether you share your blessings or your time, it speaks volumes about the extent to which you care about others. I aspire to reach your level of generosity. You use GoFundMe and similar websites to give to people in need as often as I use Twitter to tweet relatively unimportant things. Your quick-wittedness is one to be envied. You deserve an award for your humor TBH. You care about us so much and I really appreciate it. Every minute you spend with us posting funny comments on Tumblr or liking/commenting on fans' photos on Instagram or taking time to select and wrap Christmas presents to fans or talking to us on the street means more than you'll ever know. I will never get tired of supporting you because I know that you will never take us for granted.
I’m wishing you good health, happiness, and more blessings. I hope that you’re happy right now because you deserve to be happy. I can’t wait to see what else is in store for you. You can count on me to be cheering you on. I love you more than you'll ever know.
All the best,
P.S. If you followed me on Tumblr (beentheretooafewtimes), that’d be amazing. You won’t regret it! Promise.
