"Do not cite the Deep Magic to me witch! I was there when it was written." Aslan to the witch of Narnia's god complex narcissism
The CS Lewis works and quote were an allegory for when the deviant wicked tries to usurp authority over Jesus and God. "The deep magic" in the Narnia works were a allegory for the laws of the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, as well as the blood of Jesus that was shed on Calvary. It can also apply to when the manipulative wicked try to tell the righteous how to live and essentially have a narcissistic uppity view toward the righteous of "I am superior to you" when clearly such is not at all, not even close. It could also be a creative retelling of when Jesus was tempted in the desert thus how Satan taunted him
Evil never has anything to offer but void empty words of narcissism and deceit. They love to offend at the very least, push buttons, cause chaos then step back like "Sole of discretion" when truth is no one of any soundness buys it and knows exactly what they are thus do not give them that power as they have none really.
"Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." James 4:7
