Surf For All originated in 2002 by developing a surf program for developmentally disabled teenagers. Over the years they have expanded thier outings to cover a broader spectrum of disabilities–from Autism, Cerebral Palsy, global developmental delays, visual impairment and others.
Working closely with the Long Beach School District to provide weekly lessons at no cost to students ages five to twenty during the summer special education program.
Surf For All have also expanded to work closely with Wounded Warriors, providing lessons and support for military heroes and their families.
Based in Long Beach, NY, Surf For All is dedicated to assisting individuals and exposing them to the ocean and the joy of surfing as well as maximizing their potential.
The ocean is a source of healing and spiritual strength that should be accessible to all.
