Still 'Friends' After All These Years

RIGHT ANGLE ENTERTAINMENT presents the LOS ANGELES premiere of “FRIENDS! THE MUSICAL PARODY” now through AUGUST 4, 2019 at the historic Kirk Douglas Theatre.

Experience a fun romp with FRIENDS! The Musical Parody.

The television phenom soft peddled bravery with story lines incorporating trends and even hinting at what was hidden waiting to be revealed with regards to the acceptance of single parenting, non normative sexual expression and even 'Friends Giving' at a time when cultural creatives could still find reasonably priced housing in Manhattan.

The Off-Broadway hit is having its Los Angeles Premiere at the Kirk Douglas Theatre (9820 Washington Blvd.) in Culver City.

The Musical Parody is the comedic musical that lovingly pokes fun at TV’s Friends, celebrating the adventures of your favorite group of 20-something friends as they navigate the pitfalls of work, life and love in 1990s Manhattan.

It’s a typical day at New York’s only coffee shop, Central Perk, until an unexpected runaway bride enters the picture and kicks the whole gang out of second gear!

The new musical recreates our favorite moments from all 10 years of Friends through an uncensored, fast-paced, music-filled romp. Songs from FRIENDS! The Musical Parody include: • “495 Grove Street – How Can We Afford This Place?” • “How you Doin?” – Joey • “We Were on a Break!” – Ross • “Oh. My. God. It’s Janice!” – Janice Page 2 of 3 – FRIENDS! The Musical Parody Opens Tonight at Kirk Douglas Theatre • “Will They or Wont They” – Ross and Rachel • “The Ballad of Fat Monica” • “The Chick and The Duck Song” • “I am Marcel, the Monkey!” • “Could I BE Love with You” – Chandler • “The One Where We Make a Million Dollars an Episode” • “We’ll Always Be There For You”

Bob and Tobly McSmith (Creators/Writers) have also written and created Bayside! The Saved by the Bell Musical (NYTimes Critic Pick), 90210! The Musical and many others.

Their most recent production, The Office! A Musical Parody, is now playing Off-Broadway in New York City at The Jerry Orbach Theater and a North American tour launches this month
