#ReadMyLips: You don't know vaginas.

I wish male politicians - especially our president - would stop acting like they know what's best for my reproductive health.

Hey, Trump - I used to have to stick boric acid up my twat 3 times a week to combat my recurrent yeast infections. Yes, BORIC ACID - the same toxic substance that people use to kill cockroaches. Did you know that some women have to do that? Did you even know recurrent yeast infections (4+ a year) was a thing??

It IS a thing, and a pretty common one. The cause is unknown. It could be from something as simple as wearing tight clothing or taking birth control. In my case it's probably a pH imbalance that I have no control over, which is why my doctor recommended boric acid suppositories to make my vagina more acidic.

Not that you care or anything. You've already made that clear with your chauvinistic behavior. But the point is, you and your GOP buddies in Congress have no clue what it takes to keep a vagina healthy...or a cervix, or a uterus, or any other part of our anatomy. So maybe you should leave decisions over women's health and reproductive rights up to WOMEN and their doctors.

Acidically yours,

Kristen

Thanks for the feedback, Cris. I pay for my medical care, though some of it is covered by my employer-based health insurance. I have never even been to PP. So I am not "using your $$$." None of that really matters, though. Taxpayer money is also being used to fund plenty of other people's medical care, such as the elderly, the poor, and veterans. Do you feel you have the right to tell all of them what to do, too? Going back to the point of my post, though: I find it especially ironic that it's always conservative MALE lawmakers who try to restrict women's healthcare rights, often over the protests of actual medical experts. A woman's medical decisions should be driven by her health, not by some politician's agenda.

But in order to tell people what they should do, you need to know what the "doing" is. So, what do you know about Reproductive care? Women's issues? Prenatal care? Postnatal care? Dealing with menopause? Preventing women's health issues and treating them?
