I believe the underlying problem in our society comes from the lack of equality. This inequality usually is not intentional but we have grown up learning certain behaviors which end up favoring men instead of women. I believe women deserve the same opportunities and respect men have, women are just as if not more qualified than men and have the same capabilities. Examples of this inequality are the wage gap, in which women earn less than men for the same job; and the lack of respect and trust a woman gets at her job. It is proven that customers/colleagues are hesitant when it comes to getting advice or even working with a woman, although she is an expert in that field.
