Question of the Day

Is it okay to tell a friend or family member they gained weight? If you say yes please explain why. If you say no, please explain why.

Personally, I feel it's how you bring up the topic. If you are rude and mean about it, then it isn't okay to point it out. This is because sometimes the person already knows that they have gained weight, and they are hoping no one else can notice it.

I also believe it's not a good idea because that person could be struggling with an eating disorder, and talking about their weight could trigger a negative reaction.
