A 10-year-old girl who is 22 weeks pregnant after she was allegedly raped by her stepfather is being denied permission to have an abortion. Why? Because the South American nation looks down upon abortions -- even if someone has been raped. Going one step further into absurdity, it's still looked down upon even if it just happens to be a child who was sexually abused and raped by a family member. Is your head spinning like mine is after learning about this case?
There are some cases where abortion should be allowed, I'm sorry. I am pro-life, but in this case, where a child's life is at stake since pregnancy this young could kill you, I am in support of this little girl having an abortion. Look, her own stepfather is the rapist. This is barbaric and an atrocious act on his part.
Do you agree, or if it was your child who had been raped and was now pregnant, would you be willing to allow her to have an abortion in this case?
