I started FEED 10 years ago after returning from travels around the world and witnessing the realities of hunger firsthand. I wanted a way to engage my peers to help the kids I had met.
Inspired by the worn aesthetic of the bags of food I saw being delivered in schools around the world, I designed the burlap FEED 1 Bag, which is to this day our most iconic shape.
Each purchase allows us provide 1 child with school meals for 1 year. It’s amazing to see an idea for a simple burlap tote grow into a movement.
Thanks to our incredible community of conscious consumers, we’ve been able to provide 100 million meals to date, that’s 100 million opportunities for a better future for kids all over the world.
In celebrating our 10 year anniversary, I wanted to highlight our customers' impact. That’s why we partnered with Visa. Not only have we installed innovative payment systems in our store for easier checkout (and give-back), but we’ve also come together to get the word out about the power of a purchase to change the world.
Whether it’s a bag from our new Anniversary Collection, or something more iconic like the original FEED 1 Bag, every FEED purchase has the power to change lives.
