Meet the journalist, youtube creator, movie buff, and now Howard University's Mogul President. Ashli Ferguson is a junior, Broadcast Journalism major Spanish minor from Bloomfield Hills, MI. Ashli is heavily involved on Howard University’s campus as she is the Director of Communications for the Cathy Hughes School of Communications, a reporter for ESPNU Campus Connection and WHUT-TV’s Spotlight TV Network, and most recently became a member of Alpha Chapter, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated in which she serves as the Corresponding Secretary.
Outside of Howard, Ashli has received numerous honors and professional opportunities. Out of 1,000 Applicants, Ashli was chosen to attend an HBCU Music-Tech Conference sponsored by Spotify in New York City. This summer, Ashli interned for “The Pulse” with Karen Dumas on 910 AM mastering the skills of on-air reporting and production. Upon graduating from Howard University in May 2019, Ashli aspires to receive an entry-level job as a reporter and eventually become an National Television News Host. She is excited to serve as Howard University's Mogul President!
