If you're anything like me (slightly paranoid, scared of accidentally committing a crime, loves pizza... wait, I guess that last one isn't really relevant), then here's some advice on how to be sure the photos you pick for your articles are free to use.
- When you go to google images, instead choose an "Advanced Image Search.
- In the search bar, type what you're looking for.
- Scroll down to the "Usage Rights" section, and select "Free to use or share" or "Free to use or share even commercially"
- Click search! All the images you see are available for you to post and share, without any fear of copyright infringement
Feel free to carry on writing without worrying if you're stealing images. (Again, maybe I'm paranoid, but it never hurts to be safe.)
