Glee and Glee Project star Ali Stroker, made history by being the first person in a wheelchair to perform on a Broadway stage in this season’s 3-time Tony nominated revival of Spring Awakening.
Hear Ali talk about her journey, from paralysis at age 2 to being the first person in a wheelchair to earn a degree from NYU’s Tisch Drama Department (even though she ultimately loved the program, her experiences from the start were not so easy!), to acting on television to living her dream of performing on Broadway.
Fun things that we discuss include: who Ali is dating and how he helped her find confidence, what projects she is working on now, her dreams for the future (hint: one includes getting real about disabilities and sex!) and how she celebrates life every day.
As with every Lipps On Life interview where I ask for advice, you'll learn Ali’s and, as a special treat, hear her sing the first song she ever performed on a stage!
This is one talented and inspiring woman and you’ll hear all this and more in her interview.
