12 Female Travel Bloggers of Color To Follow Right Now

Sometimes it feels like an Instagram feed is the same girl over and over again. She has blonde hair, is wearing a bikini and standing in the middle of the most tropical ocean ever. And while obviously there is nothing wrong with this, it goes to show how saturated the travel industry is when its a similar look that gets likes and follows.

For women of color, this can be a hard place to try and find a seat at the table. But thankfully, there's a bunch of women who don't give an eff about what a female traveler is "supposed" to look like and shows off their glamorous selves anyways. Here are 12 travel bloggers, who are also women of color, just trying to make a name for themselves in this overly white industry. Give them a follow while they're still up and coming and watch their career as an influencer flourish.

Tosin of Tosinfinity & Beyond

Tosin has a vibrant feed on Instagram, filled with photographs of her smiling and living it up all over the world. She also has a YouTube channel where she shares footage of her adventures.

Michelle of Chinventures

This hilarious lady went viral last year for her silly double chin photographs that she features on her Instagram. By adding humor into the mix in her travels, she's created a unique style of "chinning around the world."

Andrea of It's a Travel O.D.

There are not tons of travel vloggers out there who are killing it like Andrea. She posts videos to Facebook and keeps her followers updating on Instagram to her whereabouts and journeys.

Samantha of There She Goes Again

Samantha has a beautiful Instagram feed of muted color images featuring lots of beautiful places in Asia, where she's currently living and working. Her blog has tons of guides for all things travel.

Rondette of What Dette Does

Rondette doesn't have a blog, but that doesn't mean she's not killing the Instagram game and showing off her expat adventures around the world. You get lots of colors and fierce poses from this queen.

Daphni of Yung Jetlag

This flight attendant takes total advantage of her layovers and writes guides on her blog. Her Instagram is also poppin' and a beautiful combination of all the places she's been.

Lola of Miss Filatelista

This clever use of a Spanish word meaning "stamp collector" has lead to Lola creating a blog where she shares writing and advice on her travels. She posts lovely Instagram shots from around the Earth.

Shem of Sugar and Stamps

Shem's beautiful Instagram account showcases her in hotspots around the globe. This San Francisco-based blogger shares travel, lifestyle and foodie tips from her trips.

Victoria of The Stylish Trotter

Victoria is exactly as her blog name would expect; super stylish and seeing the world. This solo traveler and foodie uses Instagram to beautifully share her fashionable looks in different places in the world.

Juliana of Traveling Jules

This journalist and filmmaker hosts shows around the world. She's worked with a variety of clients and media companies and takes us all along with her on Instagram.

Francesca of One Girl, One World

Francesca is a bubbly and bright blogger who has an affinity for the Caribbean. Her Instagram is proof of that as she shares her sunny, tropical shots with her followers.

Mandi of LoveTravels.co

This women of many talents is a creative from Jamaica who is trying to share her passion for travel on Instagram. She's in the process of creating a website where she can assist and inspire other Jamaicans to be adventurous.

This is such a  great list, I do have a lot to read, I first would love to explore the African continent first move south to Malawi, Zambia, Namibia then West and wrap up with Morocco and Egypt. Once I have done that next stop Latin America and then South East Asia. The sights, sounds and food are what I would love to soak up @Danica.  I would also love to return to the States, specifically New Orleans for the food and music, I would also love to explore the South to really get more understanding of the Civil Rights movement and slavery and the Native American reserves. Where would you like to travel to @Danica @Bethany Heinrich
