The Saudi legal system is based on Islamic Shari'a and overseen by the Ministry of Justice. Most Ministries have their own committees that rule on matters under their jurisdiction. Many disputes in Saudi Arabia are handled through administrative procedures within the relevant ministry. For example, the Board of Grievances handles disputes with the government and commercial enterprises. But it isn't just government entities that can file lawsuits in this country.
