TOM GAULIN JOINS NEAR SPACE LABS AS HEAD OF PRODUCTION 

Diversity Recruitment Firm Mogul Places Navy Veteran at Brooklyn-Based Imaging Startup  

(NEW YORK) - Mogul, Inc., today announced that it has placed Tom Gaulin of Huntington Beach, California as Head of Production - Stratospheric Robots with Near Space Labs (NSL), a Brooklyn, New York startup that specializes in offering accessible high-altitude, high-resolution imagery.  

Gaulin will be responsible for leading the production team at Near Space Labs, which designs, builds, and operates a fleet of proprietary, stratospheric robots called Swiftys, which fly to the edge of space to deliver high-quality, highly updated images of earth at affordable prices.  

“Tom will be building and leading the production team in our HQ in Brooklyn, where we manufacture our stratospheric robots,” said Ignasi Lluch, Near Space Labs Chief Technology Officer. “We are experiencing tremendous customer demand for data capture and are assembling a large fleet to meet those demands. Tom’s expertise and wealth of experience in fast-paced aerospace manufacturing and managerial acumen in newspace production floors will be the key to our fleet, team, and delivery to customers ramping up.” 

Gaulin’s experience includes previous roles as Director of Operations at Alarin Aircraft Hinge, Operations Manager at Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation, Spacecraft Integration Manager at SpaceX, and Senior Electronics Technician at Techno-Sciences. While serving in the U.S. Navy, Gaulin was assigned as Lead Electronics Technician First Class onboard Los Angeles class submarines and Aviation Squadrons, earning multiple Navy and Marine Corps achievement medals.
