An individual of diverse interests and talents, Nichole Thiel has been acting as a primary caregiver to her mother in the wake of a 2017 diagnosis of Lewy body dementia. Before devoting herself to her mother’s care, Nichole Thiel served in a series of positions as an educator and educational administrator with multiple secondary educational institutions in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. Her early career included tenures as a visual design professional with the Coeur d'Alene Resort and a regional manger with BUM Equipment.

In her free time, Nichole Thiel is an avid fiber and fabric aficionado whose hobbies include weaving and producing creative work on a loom. She is also a dedicated gardener with a specific passion for peonies. Her interest in parrots and other exotic domesticated birds extends to assisting in various parrot rescue initiatives. Ms. Thiel has also helped in the rescue of dogs in need and given back to the community at large as a fundraising event coordinator for a hospice care organization.
