Born in Paris in 1982, Marlène Schiappa graduated in Communication and New Media, specializing in electronic writings. She previously served as an assistant and a new media monitoring

officer for Euro RSCG, a journalist for Yahoo.fr, an editorial director of a news agency, and a novelist and essayist. Marlène also created a network called “Maman travaille” (mom works). She was elected deputy mayor of Le Mans, and acted as Gender Equality Officer in 2014. She was also elected Community advisor, delegate French Tech in Le Mans metropolis, and was nominated as Gender Equality Minister of France in May 2017. Follow her @MarleneSchiappa
