Kat is the ONLY fitness professional who has a regular body but has the same credentials and experience (if not more) than all of the other leading fitness celebrities who are a size 2 with ripped and shredded bodies. Kat has been in the dance and fitness industry since she was 14 when she discovered ballet and jazz. She has been in over 20 top fitness videos including Crunch Fitness, Weight Watchers and others. She has a large fan base from being the lead modifier in beachBody's 21 DAY FIX videos.
In Boston, she created an all-girl hip hop dance team, The Funky Girl Club, that performed throughout the state. In Miami, Kat was a leading fitness instructor with sold out Cardio Hip Hop classes. She then was the choreographer for the Miami Heat cheerleaders and has created other dance groups and performance teams. In Los Angeles, Kat created events for large clients like Disney and Bellagio, and has choreographed for TV shows. She is a mom and has the perfect combination of believing in family and being a strong, successful woman. She launched her own online fitness program, Katnapfitness.com in November 2015 to give people another option for working out with someone more relatable than the other fitness professionals.
“I’m still working on my goal weight and my genetic makeup is prone to weight gain (thanks family!,” says Kat. “But by being true to myself and being realistic about my goals and trying to reach a life balance – “everything in moderation”, then I can hopefully help and inspire people to do the same and to care enough about themselves to take care of themselves and to find joy in their lives in a fun, fit and healthy way. I honestly can’t think of a better purpose in life or a better time to do it.”
Kat lives in L.A. with her husband Ted, daughter Charlotte, two dogs, two tortoises, and six fish.
