Based in Boston, Karen Ahern undertakes human resources consulting at the Compensation & HR Group. In her role as trusted advisor, Karen Ahern provides strategic resources that enable companies to build teams and achieve sustained growth. Her range of experience includes productivity boosting pathways that create collaborative in-office dynamics.
Ms. Ahern’s professional background includes five years in Philadelphia as Comcast Corporation’s director of compensation, benefits, and HRIS. Serving the firm during a time of rapid growth, she set in place a new compensation and career path model centered on US technical operations staff members. This model was approved for implementation across the company.
Ms. Ahern also designed and implemented a number of total reward programs that spanned short and long-term incentive compensation models, as well as base pay, career progression, and sales-based strategies. Karen Ahern holds an undergraduate degree in psychology and sociology earned at Merrimack College and is active with the Northeast Human Resources Association.
