We’re looking for a product leader to manage our fraud and identity initiatives. While managing product development, the Sr. Product Manager, Fraud & Identity will analyze, investigate, and identify solutions to mitigate and prevent fraud and identity compromises. This individual is responsible for developing features, platforms, models, and capabilities to proactively identify sources and patterns of fraud and minimize the company’s total exposure to financial and reputational risk. The product leader will develop and execute a long-term vision that will establish Zoosk, and its systems, as the industry leader in fraud management, mitigation, and identity-based capabilities and services.
The candidate will define innovative customer experiences, coordinating with engineering and data science teams to ensure requirements are implemented effectively, and partnering as needed with internal and external business teams to guarantee successful prototyping and product implementations.
The candidate will also need to roll up their sleeves as necessary to ensure projects stay on schedule and that the work product meets our high-quality bar. Importantly, the candidate must be able to work at the strategic level (generating bold and innovative ideas for growth) and at the tactical level (solving customer pain points).

What you'll do:

    • Be the product leader driving our strategic product and technology vision for Fraud and Identity
    • Demand a customer-first approach and define and articulate the customer experience and impact for fraud detection and prevention activities
    • Be the ‘go-to’ leader for multiple cross-functional teams to deliver the latest fraud, risk and identity solutions.
    • Translate customer and internal user needs into clear, well-defined functional and technical requirements backed by data analysis and deep understanding of the fraud and identity landscape
    • Work with architecture, engineering, data science and business team to develop a roadmap and vision for Zoosk Fraud & Identity Programs
    • Translate the product roadmap into a well-organized backlog, with clear concise user stories. Manage product backlog and user story priorities.
    • End-to-end ownership - requirements gathering, scheduling, execution and timely delivery
    • Guide and interface closely with data analysts and engineering teams to define scope, review, and refine technical capabilities, prioritize projects for release, and define new opportunities
    • Develop an obsession for data and metrics that serve as the vital signs for the fraud & identity programs. Identify actionable insight from the data.
    • Oversee the design, development, and management of real-time systems and models used to combat systematic fraud, identity fraud, etc.
    • Build long-term instrumentation, monitoring and evaluation capabilities for product performance, tracking, and creation of product insights
    • Communicate and report status, primary metrics, key fraud, identity issues, solution plans and readiness timelines to senior management and executives
    • Establish business cases and projected ROI on investment to identify and prioritize opportunities
    • Participate in evaluating vendor technologies and solutions
    • Have excellent presentation and communication skills. Manage expectations and communication with key stakeholders.

What we're looking for in you:

    • BA/BS in a technical field, CS preferred. MBA a plus.
    • A minimum of 7+ years product management experience
    • A minimum of 5+ years of experience managing Fraud and Risk across payments, ecommerce, retail, digital media and/or other financial services industries
    • Demonstrated expertise in utilizing information generated from fraud patterns, data, and/or prior experience to create insights for a team of engineers
    • Expert knowledge, skills and demonstrated track record across a range of functions including authentication, identity verification, payment processing, etc.
    • Experience in iterative, agile software delivery, short release cycles and iterative delivery of an eCommerce product suite
    • Proven experience in reducing fraud successfully and building sustainable fraud and identity products and systems
    • Be extremely focused on data and analytics to solve problems and a track record of driving results through continuous improvement
    • Excellent time management skills & written and verbal communication
    • Proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
    • Be a self-motivated, innovative person with analytical, problem solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills with the ability to adapt to changes and new ideas.
    • Ability to understand and internalize business processes to define system configurations to support those processes.
    • Strong analytical skills and ability to draw insights from data.
    • Be curious, collaborative, and have a bias toward action
