About me
Alyssa Wright is an artist, author, movement builder and capacity building expert. An accomplished facilitator and consultant, Alyssa is the thinking behind this consultancy's community-driven approach.
In her early twenties, midway through a university degree in theatre for social change, Alyssa got the opportunity to travel to Eastern Europe to perform at the JoakimInterFest and collaborate with International artists & activists. After the ensemble won an award for “International Artistic Courage” with the production, Milosevic at the Hague, Wright felt called to design a purpose-driven path that brought artists, activists & philanthropists together to powerfully & creatively drive change.
Her transition to fundraising & philanthropy in 2010 was no less extraordinary. After recieving the opportunity to train alongside social change fundraiser, Kathy LeMay and collborate in communitites such as Women Moving Millions, Resource Generation & New England International Donors, Wright found herself working with and learning from some of the most sophisticated and values-driven philanthropists & activists in the world.
After a few years of serving as the Co-Director of Raising Change, a global social change philanthropic & fundraising firm, Wright felt called to invest deeply in the creation of impactful solutions to the social change sector’s need for transformative professional development and strategic capacity bulding. Upon graduating in 2016 from Cornell University certified in Change Leadership, Wright began mapping ways to support all those who are deeply committed to lead social change around the globe. She believes that when we place dignity and love at the forefront of our change-making effforts and collaborate to fuel & fund each other’s work, there is nothing that we can not accomplish together on this Earth.
