About me
Hi,
I am currently a 4th year at USC double-majoring in Biology and Spanish. I am a Korean-American, raised in the suburbs near Los Angeles my whole life. As the daughter of immigrant parents, I've been taught the "proper role" of a woman is in the house, timid, to be submissive, quiet, and make yourself look pretty because the end goal is to be married off into a good house. However, after leaving for college I've discovered how much impact women can have in other people's lives. I am studying to become a doctor and hope to use medicine as a platform to serve the underserved, with an emphasis on women and children.
