How To Be An Early Riser
In our childhood, most of the time we have heard the phrase, early to bed and early to rise. On many occasions, our parents have also forced us out of bed early in the morning which felt very annoying to us. But early rising has many kinds of benefits that many of may not be aware of. It is hard for many people to rise early from the bed as they have a habit of sleeping late. Well technically, all our job begins early in the morning, and it is a necessity too for us to wake up early. In case you find it hard to rise early in the morning, then here are some of the tips that will help you to rise early easily and start your day.
Pick a time
If you want to start rising early in the morning, then you have to choose a time when you will wake up in the morning. You have to start small by not rising too early or not rising too late, for, i.e., 7:30 am. In case you start getting up at 4.30 am, or at 5, it will be a very drastic change for you in case you don’t have a habit of rising early in the morning. Also, you have to consider your work schedule for rising early. In that case, you have to choose a time where you can wake up without much problem and also get ready for your work in an appropriate time.
Go to bed early
To wake up early, you need to go to bed early as well. If you don’t have adequate sleep at night, you will have a hard time in the morning to pull yourself out of bed. Therefore, you have to fix a schedule for sleeping and waking up. You also have to stick to that timetable regimentally so that you come into the habit of waking up early.
Keep your clock away from bed
When the alarm of the clock goes off, the first instinct of ours is to put off the alarm and go back to sleep again. This can delay your wake up time in the morning. To avoid that, keep your clock away from the bed so that when the alarm rings up, you have to get up from the bed and turn off the alarm.
Wash your face with cold water
When you wake up, the drowsiness does not go off totally from you, and you still have a little grumpy feeling. Washing the face with cold water can rattle up your senses and shoo away your drowsiness. It will make you feel a bit fresh, and you will be ready for the new day.
Make your own breakfast
A bed tea can make you a lazy bump and delay your waking up time. So, if you want to get the things going, then get up and move to the kitchen to make your own breakfast.
Avoid alcohol
If you drink a bottle of alcohol in the night, waking up in the morning can become a big challenge for you. Alcohol can induce hangover issues, headache, and drowsiness which can make your early rising plans difficult. Therefore, if you have a routine to wake up early in the morning, then it will be better to avoid alcohol at night.
Practice meditation
A disturbed sleep at night can also lead to a disturbance in your morning routine. To have a sound sleep at night and to wake up early in the morning, you can practice meditation. It will help you empty your mind of negative thoughts and have a good night sleep, which will eventually help you wake up easily early in the morning.
