About me
After having graduated at the Ecole de la Chambre Syndicale de la Couture Parisienne in Paris in 2004 and after having collected significant experiences in diverse sectors at parisian Haute Couture and Prêt-à-Porter houses, such as Christian Dior, Jean Charles de Castelbajac, Franck Sorbier, Givenchy and Morgan which made it possible for her to acquire the most important aspects of fashion industry, she decides to change her environment once again and moves to Vienna. In Vienna she starts studying at the Academy of Fine Arts.
Since 2007/2008 she has been creating her own collections, developing fashion line ZORANA JANJIC and working on various projects in fields of performing and visual arts.
From 2008 to 2013 she has been working as head of the fashion design department at LOMOGRAPHY in Vienna. During this period she presented her personal work as well as her work within Lomography at numerous exhibitions, shows and competitions.
In 2013 she won a grant by the Austrian Ministry for Education, the Arts and Culture to create and to develop a new personal collection. In the same year she moved back to Paris.
In 2014 the brand ZORANA JANJIC was officially founded. Within its first year the brand has experienced a big success, winning the Mediterranean Fashion Prize 2014, being nominated at the Grand Prix de la Création de la Ville de Paris 2014, being invited to Skopje Design Week 2014, Vancouver Fashion Week 2015 and Journées de la Mode en Algérie 2015.
