We passionately put our customers and communities first
We embrace change and innovate courageously
We grow together through spirited teamwork
At TELUS International, we are proud to be an equal opportunity employer and are committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace. All aspects of employment, including the decision to hire and promote, are based on applicants’ qualifications, merits, competence and performance without regard to any characteristic related to diversity.
Team member resource groups
Our six Team Member Resource groups support over 6,000 members, and together play an important role in advancing inclusion within our organization and throughout the communities where we live, work and serve around the world. These groups offer mentoring, networking, peer support, volunteering and coaching opportunities to members. Our resource groups also enable us to better understand the needs and preferences of our diverse customers, helping TELUS become one of the world’s most customer recommended companies.
Investing in people for better CX
An engaged, inspired team member is ready to own the customer experience from end to end. But it takes a real investment in people to make that a reality. Beyond the latest tools and technology, we invest in our team members and surround them with what matters most to them.
Learning & Development
It's important for our team members to grow with us both personally and professionally. This includes access to numerous upskilling opportunities as well as onsite, subsidized university education.
Health & Wellness
We care about the wellbeing of our workforce. Team members have access to onsite healthcare professionals, fitness facilities, and generous health benefits not only for themselves but for their extended family members as well.
Career first, company second
We want you to grow and develop both personally and professionally. That’s why we invest in the education of our team members, regardless of whether they stay with us or not. In several locations, we work in partnership with local, accredited universities via our TELUS International University (TIU) program where team members have the opportunity to complete their education/degree through subsidized tuition and onsite classes.
From themed meeting rooms and fitness facilities to onsite movie theaters and libraries, we know that office space matters. We focus on creating innovative workspaces that inspire our people and serve as a daily reminder to think differently. Our team members work hard, so it’s important to create fun and relaxing spaces just for them.
We say thank you
Our people make our company truly special, and our caring culture comes to life because of them. From team events and awards to Friday treats and client incentive programs, we make sure to recognize good work and say “thank you” on a regular basis.
At TELUS International, we understand the relationship between the success of our company and the well-being of the communities where we live, work and serve.
We give where we live
We know that our team members want to be part of something bigger. And when given the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in their own communities, our proud team members reward us with their ongoing commitment and loyalty. Since 2007, over 100,000 TELUS International volunteers have impacted the lives of more than 150,000 people across the globe. #WeGiveWhereWeLive
TELUS Days of Giving around the globe
In addition to our weekly (even daily) charitable activities, once a year we focus our efforts on our TELUS Days of Giving. Thousands of our team members put aside their daily activities to join a common cause, whether it’s building entire schools in Central America, refurbishing centers for young children in Eastern Europe or constructing entire villages for the homeless in the Philippines - and more. In 2020, during the pandemic, we found new ways to make a difference from distributing food baskets and knitting blankets for families in need, to delivering care packages to healthcare workers, to donating computers to students to continue their virtual education, to creating online storybooks for young children. Altogether, in 2020, we volunteered over 15,000 hours demonstrating the resiliency of our caring culture. Click here to view our infographic.
