I didn’t watch the Grammys on Sunday but I still kinda watched it! You might just say guilty pleasure.
- I was like damn I need to focus on my own dreams lol
YOU COULD JUST WATCH THE VIDEO BELOW OR READ AWAY
According to the New York Times, the Grammys held on Feb 10th, with a viewership of 19.9 million people. There were amazing performances by Jlo, Gaga, Cardi B, Alicia Keys, and Michelle Obama- well Michelle Obama kinda performed-it was such a compelling and dynamic event. Of course, winning a Grammy can be a magical moment that sparkles your entire day or maybe life. So what happened, there was some controversy over Jlo ’s performance (I think she was magnificent). Likewise, I liked Drake’s speech about how awards don’t define who you are. According to Drake- "You’ve already won if you have people singing your songs word for word….this brings me to the topic of the today... I am not trying to act like a music nerd and all but I gotta spit some spoken word truth like I always do:
I almost didn’t watch this award, why?? Well, a wise person once told me to focus on my own goals 24/7, whilst learning from others. It's important to focus on your own journey first, then proceed to build your own story, then winning your own awards. Yes, there are probably a few things you can learn from great artists, famous people, people you work with, just people in general., but don’t make their lives yours. We can only learn.
NOW, all this inspired this topic- Go fight for your dreams, get started by demystifying your inner strengths and reject giving up so easily..Yes, I SAID IT, DEAL WITH IT, Napolean Hill Once said “Never be afraid to give your best to what seemingly are small jobs” Keep working hard, ignore doubters and be as indomitable as a kite in the sky.
- Research claims that being immensely courageous and enthusiastic helps to conquer anything you want, so you need to have the guts to be patient, grateful and unrelentingly dedicated to achieving your goals. Pay attention to your skills and talent first before even looking up to anyone (recognize your talent, quite imperative there). Once you know what you want, its easier to progress in winning your own proclaimed awards. (awards could mean anything)
So guys did you watch the awards, did you care, what do you think about awards generally…leave comments below>…..
I live you with a piece of a quote I wrote: Never measure your success based on what you see, hear or witness. The deranged side of life comes with an unbalanced set of rules, you only can decide to play by it, so focus on your path- Instagram user: tosin_tajo
