It’s the destiny of us all to attend primary classes, schools, colleges and finally universities to equip ourselves with education. The time we spend in schools as kids becomes the most memorable time and we get great amusement when we remember that after growing adults. I personally have missed many classes when I was school and not doing homework with a fear of punishment from the teachers was the biggest reasons that forced me to bunk from school. Here today we will look into the reasons for which teens don’t complete their homework and spare themselves from the teachers with various logics. Check out what’s there in the reasons.
They Don’t Get Enough Time
Nowadays the kids have become tech-savvy and they literally have no time to complete their homework because they spend a plenty of time on internet, social media and playing various games. They go to schools, come back and are assigned to get consultation from the tutors. Their whole day is used in taking classes and learning. They can’t have time to do their work and understand that it’s the need of their study. Putting so much work, giving them digital devices and home environment are the major causes that lead to lack of time.
Internet and Social Media
I have a younger brother and he is just 7. He had been attaining outstanding marks in all the classes. A year before, he got addicted to computer games, internet and social media websites and when I heard about his latest results, I was worried to know that he couldn’t do well. He was spending most of his work and study time on internet, playing games and using Facebook. Parents should keep eyes on their kids and keep a check-up of their activities by maintain a balance between homework and extra activities.
There is no doubt that every parent dreams to see their kids successful and bright in studies as well. When it comes to caring kids, their studies and asking them about education, very few parents do so as they don’t have time to sit with their children and discuss study matters. Negligence on parents’ end leads to educational loss for their kids. Their children become habitual of not doing work because they know parents will not pay attentive ears to their performance.
Pretending To Be Sick
I have been using fake excuses to skip my classes during school. Telling my teachers that I had been sick and consider using a fake doctor’s note to skip school were the most amazing factor in that time for me. Though it apparently helped me, it led to a number of losses as well. Here, parents and teachers can resolve this issue by having few short meeting and parents must tell the teachers about whether the kid was ill or not. It should be removed from teens otherwise it makes a habitual.
They Really Meant What They Said
Most of the kids leave classes and can’t complete their work because they have been sick in true sense. Taking their real causes as lame ones will impact them badly and they will start thinking the teachers don’t trust them. If a kid tells about sickness, a teacher can understand and if he feels any need of confirmation the parents should be called to have meeting with the teachers. I as a teacher have seen kids to be really sick and they ultimately couldn’t finish the assigned works.
Obviously there are numerous reasons for which the kids don’t take classes and leave their homework incomplete. Believing them without snooping into their words will be better than looking into what they told you. Parents and teachers can resolve this issue by mutual cooperation and bring the teens back to the right track.
