With talks of Brittney Spears never performing again albeit I’ve never been a big supporter there’s just a stopping point. I mean she’s made it in that industry very successfully for 21 years, the world has seen it and heard it. She’s done everything there is to do in the field. People talking about “She isn’t the same as she was as the bubbly early 2000’s pop princess”... well yeah of course she’s not! She’s a 37 year old Woman now, made millions, grown up, become a Mother, been in rehabs, mental health programs, etc. Leaving all that out think about what you were like at 17 now think of the differences now. So why should we expect celebrities to be any different? They're a human being that became famous period. No one is the same at age 17 then flip forward to pushing 40. That's the problem in that world the public and execs want to keep people the same age they were when they entered it. Michael Jackson had that problem, to some capacity Prince had to address that problem, Whitney Houston, and so on. That industry grabs those people when they're just kids and wants to keep them that way the rest of their life. The public doesn't always acknowledge the everyday fact people grow up or should. If you think about it she entered the game in the late 90's.. 1998 to be exact... that's when Generation Z'ers were being born, that's a life time for Gen Z'ers. Long before social media and the internet in it's infancy. For us Millennial's we were young kids. It's no wonder people in that field often lose their mind at some point. The everyday grind and all that pressure to have a teenage persona the rest of their life in every way. Many are tired in and of that industry before age 25. For her to last as long as she has says a great deal. It’s a fast lane a lot of people in that realm retire before age 30 particularly if they have the means to do so. Folks honestly should just let her bow out and move on with her life. She's done her thing in that world let her live a healthy new life outside of it. <3
