Particularly as a black woman, never being promoted, stereotyped whenever calling attention to an issue that needs it, and a lack of regard for my safety or basic human needs. How do we Rise above? Become entrepreneurs and develop the sustainability to work for ourselves but more importantly, to support each other when we take that leap of faith!

Madrid is wonderful, but two weeks is actually tonnes of time in my opinion! You could easily catch a train out to Barcelona, Valencia, Seville or Bilbao to see more of Spain as you're there. While you're in the city though, here's what not to miss:- Buen Retiro ParkAbsolutely stunning park with even more impressive works of art scattered throughout. It's making me fall in love with the place all over again just thinking about it!https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Buen_Retiro_Park
- Museo del PradoFancy being blown away by incredible paintings and sculptures by some of the world's grandest masters? Look no further. Plus, this place is right next to El Retiro ;)https://www.museodelprado.es/en
- Museo de Reina SofiaThis place is a MUST. One of the best destinations for modern art. It's also home to the world famous Guernica painting by Picasso. Absolutely mind-blowing and totally requires seeing it in person, with your own human eyes!http://www.museoreinasofia.es/en
- Malasaña / Tribunal
The ultimate district in Madrid for nightlife. A real mix of bars, great atmosphere and only a stone's throw from the centre, so very well-connected.https://theculturetrip.com/europe/spain/articles/the-10-best-bars-in-madrid-s-malasa-a/
- La Puerta del Sol(Commonly referred to as just 'Sol')This is the true centre of the city and marks 0km start of all main Spanish roads. As any city centre, head here for shops, bars and restaurants.https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Puerta_del_Sol
