Do Mattresses Matter?
What does everyone love? Where do we all love to get back to? Where do we place our children at night? What do we inevitably begin to miss while on vacation? If your answer is your bed, your right!
Just about everyone has a strong affinity to their beds. Who hasn’t had breakfast in bed? In fact, I would suppose that most people have on occasion spent the entire day there!
The bed serves as the setting for drama and romance and is a recurring theme in songs and poetry. Bob Dylan asks his lady to “lie across his big brass bed” in the ballad “Lay Lady Lay”; King Solomon’s bride describes her “night long” search for her lover “by night on her bed”.
The beds of kings, queens, and nobles are always the focus of our attention as they are romantically recreated in the castles and museums of old. vchrcl ouit some of the affordable mattresse under $500 here.
With increasing age, we find ourselves looking forward to the comfort we know only our beds can provide, while on the other hand, we grimace at the agony of having to leave it!
Consider for a moment how much of our lives we spend in bed? Figuring a life-span to be about 80 years, and the daily sleep duration to be about 8 hours, we conclude that we spend approximately 233,600 hours or 9,734 days in our beds! If we throw in our occasional naps, we can safely round up to 10,000 days. That is about 27.4 years we spend in our beds. This is a quarter of the 80 year life span!
Unfortunately, research suggests that as many as 20% of the human race suffers from some kind of a sleep disorder. Of this group, 15-20% of the affected have difficulty falling asleep, 20% staying asleep, and 25% complain of a short sleep. The causes are split, 65% of all cases are of a physically nature and 45% of a psychological nature.
Taking all the above concerns together: the amount of time we spend sleeping; the actual need for a comfortable, healthy sleep, and the causes which can cause sleep disorders, the importance of selecting the right mattresses (sleeping berth) becomes an emphatically important concern.
Beds are available in many shapes and sizes but the most important part of the bed is the mattress! Finding the right bed begins with finding the right mattress; one which will furnish me with a maximum level comfort and one which I will be able to receive the most restful sleep. It is upon the mattress that the body lies and has contact to the bed. The mattress is the crucial distinction between waking from a restful and healthy sleep, or waking with the feeling you’ve been whacked! Not every mattress meets every persons needs. I must be willing to research. I must also be prepared to make the necessary investment. If looking for mattresses that will help relieve back pain then here they are.
We want to help you find the right balance between your need and your financial ability.
There is a principle which I read somewhere that is very truthful: There is scarcely anything in the world that some man cannot make a little worse, and sell a little more cheaply. The person who buys on price alone is this man’s lawful prey. Its unwise to pay too much, but its worse to pay too little. When you pay too much, you lose a little money — that is all. When you pay too little, you sometimes lose everything, because the thing you bought was incapable of doing the thing it was bought to do.
