About me
A graduate of The Arnold & Marie Schwartz College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences at Long Island University, Nechama Rothberger, PharmD, balances a busy career as a board-certified pharmacotherapy specialist and registered pharmacist with a commitment to the community. Over the years, she has volunteered with numerous nonprofits and other organizations, including Team Lifeline, Chai Lifeline, and Bobby’s Place Clothing Donation Center. Dr. Nechama Rothberger also supported the Hebrew Academy for Special Children (HASC) as a volunteer in its Technology and Media Department.
Professionally, Dr. Nechama Rothberger has served as a clinical pharmacist in the Emergency Department of Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York, since 2016. There, she supervises IV compounding and drug dispensing while spearheading pharmacy protocol development. She also provides nurse education through regular lectures and presentations and guides the next generation of pharmacists as a preceptor for pharmacy residents.
Dr. Nechama Rothberger additionally stands out as a contributing member of the larger pharmacy field. A co-founder of the Jewish Pharmaceutical Society, she maintains active membership with professional organizations such as the American College of Clinical Pharmacy and the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists. She has also delivered numerous educational seminars to members of the community and research presentations to industry peers at professional conferences.
