About me
Dr. Lewis Aptekar is a respected professor and clinical psychologist who retired from his career in 2016. He lived and worked in around thirty-five countries and is the coauthor of the 2013 book “Street Children and Homeless Youth: A Cross-Cultural Perspective.” He’s authored several other published articles in various humanitarian and educational journals, and he served on the Editorial Board for Journal of Social Aspects of HIV/AIDS (SAHARA).
In 1993, Dr. Aptekar was a Visiting Professor with Johns Hopkins University’s Department of External Relations.
