Producer and actress Kristin West is a Texan talent with cosmopolitan appeal. Raised in rural south Texas, West’s training includes the Globe Theatre in London, the American Academy of Dramatic Arts and the University of Texas Semester in Los Angeles Program. West graduated from the University of Texas at Austin, with a B.S. in Radio-TV-Film and was distinguished as a Terry Scholar and was also a participant in the university's prestigious Shakespeare at Winedale Program.
West's work has garnered the attention of film festivals. Her films have played at such esteemed festivals as Cannes Short Film Corner, San Antonio Film Festival, Culver City Film Festival, Action on Film and Mumbai Shorts International Film Festival, among many others.
West may best known for her guest star role on Bravo’s "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills". Kristin also played Investigator West in Billy Pon’s much talked about horror feature "Circus of the Dead", which was shot on location in Odessa, Texas. Kristin played the title role of Valentina in Armin Nasseri’s thriller short “Seeking Valentina”. Seeking Valentina was nominated for the prestigious Rondo Hatton Classic Horror Award for Best Short Film. Kristin was honored as Best Actress in a Short Film at FANtastic Horror Film Festival for her role of Valentina in Seeking Valentina. West was also honored with the Golden Reel Short Film at the Las Vegas Galaxy Film Awards. West continues to attach herself to exciting projects of many genres.
She's appeared on TruTV's show, Rachel Dratch's Late Night Snack, alongside famed comedy duo Tripp & Tyler. Kristin has an exciting supporting role in Armin Nasseri's The Spirit Room, now playing at film festivals nationwide.
West is a proud supporter of Feeding America as well as many local organizations that combat food insecurity and hunger. Additionally, Kristin was honored to judge the Inland Empire Media Academy Film Festival Awards in 2015 and 2016. West moderated the "Student Filmmakers" panel at the 16th Annual Bare Bones International Film Festival and she was also part of the inaugural "Women in Film" panel at the 22nd Annual San Antonio Film Festival in 2016. West was named to the Jury of the Chicago Indepedent Film Festival in 2016 and is a regular judge of the NYC Midnight Writing Competitions.
