We began our journey in 2013 in Silicon Valley as a small group of visionaries obsessed with giving consumers a voice online — a voice that would help shape their data profiles and identities in relation to the brands they loved. Our mission from Day 1 was to bring a more transparent feedback loop between consumers and brands online, knowing that this would make the internet a better place.
Today we think of content as the best conduit for that conversation between a brand and its customers, partners, employees, and investors. That is why we have made it our job to be THE Content Intelligence Platform that enables brands to connect content to outcomes.
We made the move to New York City in 2016, and are now a team of 70 data & design nerds, hard workers, and dog lovers. At Knotch, we’re proud of the work we do and the people that make it happen. We’re a remote-first company and growing quickly, yet still staying true to our values of relentlessness, inclusiveness, and most of all transparency.
By combining honesty and integrity in our approach,
our employees and our clients can do their best work every day.
We are accepting of everyone: every situation is approached with an unbiased open-minded mentality.
We always assume positive intent in people.
We are tireless, persistent, and hungry for progress.
We know when to celebrate wins and when to push harder to achieve success.
When we don’t know the answer, we proactively work to figure it out.
We don’t believe in setbacks, we adjust quickly and move on, growing together.
Our Co-Founder and CEO, Anda Gansca, often refers to Knotch as a “band of misfits.” Throughout history, it’s misfits that have ignited change, turned conversation into action, and challenged what it means to “fit in.”
Whether it was Elizabeth Cady Staton leading the Suffrage Movement; Oliver Brown fighting the US government to allow his daughter, Linda Carol Brown, to go to an integrated school; or Sylvia Rivera & Marsha P. Johnson protesting police brutality against the LGBTQ+ community by throwing the first bricks at Stonewall — those bold enough to challenge systemic norms are the ones that create a better, more inclusive future for all of us. At Knotch, we aim to celebrate diverse voices and foster belonging and inclusion across all teams.
We acknowledge we have more work to do. The tech industry must change, and we believe it can and should start with us. We are committed to:
Like the misfits before us, we are committed to turning conversation into action and redefining what it means to “fit in.”
