About me
As a care coordinator for the National Council of Alcoholism and Drug Dependence, Kandi Derry Digiovanni draws on a decade of experience as a healing professional. She began her career after completing undergraduate studies in athletic training at Kean University, where she was inducted into the Lambda Alpha Sigma Honor Society and the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi. In addition, Kandi Derry Digiovanni participated in her campus community as a junior- and senior-class representative to the Athletic Training Club and as a member of the student-athlete advisory committee.
After receiving her bachelor's degree, Ms. Digiovanni joined the staff of Kean University as an athletic trainer. She helped university athletes to recover from and prevent injuries, while simultaneously working toward a master of arts in counseling. She graduated in 2012, after completing her student internship at Journey to Wellness in Perth Amboy, New Jersey.
Ms. Digiovanni accepted her current position in 2014. In that capacity, she advocates for clients and ensures that their integrated psychiatric, medical, social, and logistical needs are met, including any treatment needed for substance abuse issues.
