Position: Clinical Reporting Engineer/Consultant
Location: Remote

Job Description:
The current position is a hybrid role that is being filled as 50% Clinical Reporting Engineer and 50% Clinical Reporting Consultant.
The Clinical Reporting Engineer (CRE) will work under minimal supervision with clients, other various engineers, solution architects and project managers to design, develop and implement clinical reporting workflow solutions.
The Clinical Reporting Consultant (CRC) will work under minimal supervision conducting customer education to assist with adoption and design development both onsite and remotely (via webconferencing applications).

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Help the customer achieve their unique reporting objectives through understanding of the clinical environment, clinical workflow, reporting software and system features;
  • Work directly with customers to develop, design and implement effective clinical reporting workflow customizations to meet the needs of their facility;
  • Leverage knowledge of Watson Health Imaging solutions and business requirements to optimize solution effectiveness;
  • Support all phases of project implementation from Kick-off to Go-Live activities and the transition to Support;
  • Participate as subject matter experts for sales calls with potential customers;
  • Maintain effective and professional relationships with customers to create high satisfaction with the Watson Health products and services;
  • Identify and communicate possible improvements in the work process for customers and peers and when applicable, document via the internal tracking system (JIRA);
  • Assist others within the Professional Services organization to resolve field related issues;
  • Maintain stringent documentation of all edits/changes and other pertinent information in common/shared folders and cloud based file sharing services;
  • Pursue a program of self-development through the use of selected reading, seminars, and participation in continuing education.
  • Perform services in a manner consistent with our established implementation methodology;
  • Perform other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor or upper management.

Required Professional and Technical Expertise:
  • Three (3) years minimum of Healthcare experience
  • Strong understanding of both noninvasive and invasive Cardiology testing and clinical workflows.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Professional and Technical Expertise:
  • Three (3) years of Healthcare IT experience
  • Familiarization with Merge Cardio reporting application
  • Familiarization with HL7 and DICOM protocols
  • Familiarization with basic programming concepts/structure

Preferred Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of work experience.


Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Three (3) years minimum of Healthcare experience
  • Strong understanding of both noninvasive and invasive Cardiology testing and clinical workflows.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.


Preferred Tech and Prof Experience

  • Three (3) years of Healthcare IT experience
