Summary Provides presales technical support and expertise in analyzing client requirements. Focuses on mid-size and enterprise accounts with responsibility for solution design and business development; transitions projects from presales to delivery. Creates client intimacy with consultative sales and solution-focused technical expertise. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Participates in client presales calls around core offerings in Logicalis service catalog; develops core solutions for clients around Logicalis service offerings; gathers and discerns clients’ technical and business requirements. Engages in opportunities as subject matter expert to design and scope solutions and components of Logicalis service engagements. Works with Account Executives and account team in pursuit of Logicalis solution opportunities and to develop client proposals. Works with Services Architect leadership to identify areas of specialization for portfolio-wide solution development and sales leadership. Articulates Logicalis’ market positioning, vision, and solution value add. Writes Statements of Work (SOWs) for Logicalis Managed Services. Understands, articulates, and promotes all Logicalis Managed Services offerings. Assists in developing service offerings for Logicalis Cloud (private and public). Develops pricing models for Annuity Services. Leads cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of service offerings, including: Implementation teams Managed Services Professional Services delivery teams Transfers technical design and direction captured during sales process to Logicalis Delivery personnel (PS or MS). Provides technical direction required to resolve complex issues and ensure on-time delivery of client solutions. Prepares and performs product demonstrations. Evaluates, develops, and positions third-party solutions to complete solutions. Works with Sales and Project Management to define roadmaps and milestones for Project and Delivery teams. Participates in strategic account planning team meetings for key clients. Develops knowledge of client’s environment to facilitate integration recommendations. Provides consulting advice to client senior leadership, especially IT leadership. Sets strategic direction for clients. Defines and guides delivery of effective reporting and analytics. Communicates technical concepts to nontechnical audiences in proposals and in-person presentations. Works on several large client projects concurrently. Participates in increasingly complex client projects. Provides product and/or solution training for Logicalis Sales Teams and clients. Mentors Logicalis team members. Keeps abreast of the latest solutions and services Logicalis offers. Demonstrates excellent communication/documentation skills. Establishes strong relationships with clients by demonstrating excellent listening skills. Builds credibility and trust by delivering what has been promised within established timeframes. Demonstrates and actively promotes an understanding and commitment to the mission of Logicalis through performing behaviors consistent with the organization's values. Maintains a working knowledge of applicable Federal, State, and Local laws and regulations as well as policies and procedures of Logicalis in order to ensure adherence in a manner that reflects honest, ethical and professional behaviors. Education/Experience/Technical Requirements/Certifications Education Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business, management disciplines, or related field. Experience / Technical Requirements 10 years working with service-based solutions with experience in: Designing/developing complex data platform architectures Leading clients through technology/data/BI strategy roadmap exercises Data modeling Data architecture Traditional DBMS systems Designing relational and multi-dimensional models Data warehousing technologies Experience in Logicalis vertical industries (e.g., healthcare, banking, etc.). Experience developing enterprise-wide solutions. Strong experience combining products and services into technology solutions that meet clients’ business needs. Experience engaging in sales process with focus on solution design phase. Experience in business case development and providing financial justification of Services investment including total cost of ownership. Strong fundamental understanding of business and related acumen. Proficient use of all Microsoft Office applications. May consider equivalent combination of education and experience. Certifications Developing as a Subject Matter Expert across one or more vertical or horizontal solution sets may require achieving both internal and external relevant certifications, such as external certifications in compute, storage, Cloud, and Service Management.
