This is a “scrum master” role in the Digital Operations Analytics and Personalization team (, responsible for leading a cross functional digital operations team focused on personalization and site optimization testing.  In this role, you will lead a team of people (not direct reports), all dedicated to a war room environment, to ensure flawless execution of tests and personalization campaigns.  You will also work with external partners from IT, Brand, Finance, CRM, Media, and agencies.  To be effective, this role requires an extremely organized individual who can lead a large team, be present in a physical location, communicate to people at varying levels and functions, and rally a team behind common goals.

What you will be responsible for:

  • Making decisions on project priorities and path forward for work, and rallying the team accordingly
  • Facilitating face-to-face and video conference meetings with 30+ participants
  • Resolving roadblocks preventing progress to test implementation
  • Tracking open test list, key milestones, and team task list
  • Communicating team progress and escalating roadblocks as appropriate
  • Prioritizing projects and tasks according to business priority and operational feasibility
  • Interpreting reporting and test analytics to make sound business decisions
  • Updating the results library with the interim and latest test results 
  • Ensuring test definition briefs are standardized with strategy, creative, tech, data, and relevant offers requirements
  • Identifying pain-points in execution (e.g., resourcing, test quality, etc), identifying solutions and escalating to digital ops leadership as needed
  • Monitoring war room environment and keeps culture strong / motivation high
  • Managing experience collisions among multiple personalized audiences

What some of your day-to-day tasks will be:

  • Manage pool of execution resources, primarily working with functional leads (but with direct access to all working team members when needed)
  • Receive tests from the control tower manager and assigns it to test leads in a way to balance the workload 
  • Lead the war room daily check-in call (informing war room members when they owe important items to team), and maintain documentation for team
  • Follow-up with team members on open deliverables
  • Schedule test kick offs, results step-back sessions, and bi-weekly feedback sessions 
  • Act as first point of contact to resolve immediate problems facing tests and take ownership to solve these problems
  • Shift war-room priorities and activities when higher-impact tests identified
  • Maintain a physical presence in the war room and ensure information is radiated
  • Ensure consistency remains throughout the test lifecycle


  • BS/BA degree or 6+ years of equivalent experience in technology, marketing, digital commerce, or project management is required
  • Experience working in agile teams, Scrum Master role experience a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the proven ability to present ideas in a manner that achieves clarity, buy-in, commitment, and success
  • Ability to be make independent decisions and action-oriented plans
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and implement process improvements
  • Highly collaborative and able to produce high quality results
  • Ability to prioritize the work of oneself and a team according to changing business needs
  • Aptitude to develop and maintain strong working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to hold peers accountable to delivery commitments
  • Proven understanding of sales KPIs
  • Ability to use metrics as a key component of decision making
  • Capability to operate under minimal supervision while serving as a subject matter expert
  • Willingness to take calculated risks, communicate those risks, and mobilize a team accordingly
  • Demonstrated ability learning new technology and tools quickly
  • Aptitude to develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
