The Oracle Cloud Supply Chain Management (SCM) Solution Architect is a delivery position that will work with account teams and clients to conduct assessments and workshops to position the Oracle Cloud SCM solution and help clients prepare for moving to the Oracle Cloud. This individual will also serve as cloud SCM subject matter advisor during the duration of the project lifecycle.

Experience implementing Oracle Cloud SCM, preferably Order Management, as a project manager or lead and functional knowledge of the Cloud SCM solution suite. This person must be familiar with the Oracle Implementation and Customer Success program and know how to team successfully with Oracle during the delivery process. Supply Chain business process knowledge is required.

Collaborate with extraordinary, insightful professionals in an environment that cultivates creativity and individuality. Meet with clients, gather business requirements from the line of business and solution how the Oracle Cloud SCM will satisfy the business requirements. Work with sales and account teams and proposal solutioners to help win Oracle SCM projects. Business case development experience is desired but not required. For project implementations this person will be part of ramp up and design as a solution subject matter leader and serve in a full time capacity on engagements as an implementation SME.

This role will have exposure and familiarity to multi-dimensional industries during the sales cycle. Ability to work with geographically dispersed teams embracing time zone and cultural aspects is a key to the success of this position.

Main Responsibilities
The Oracle Cloud SCM Lead main responsibilities include –

- Act as Oracle Cloud subject matter expert providing best-practice guidance on supply chain business processes and implementation approaches
- Solution Oracle Cloud SCM and participate in sales activities
- Facilitate and/or conduct requirements workshops as part of sales activities
- Develop solution scope and make implementation recommendations
- Participate and help lead Oral presentations
- Kick off project initiation and design
- Serve as a project Lead/PM for project delivery

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • At least 5 years consultancy experience working with ebusiness (eBS) and other supply chain systems, preferably within the Oracle application solution set
  • At least 24-36 months experience in the completion of two full life-cycle implementations with Oracle / Cloud SCM Suite as a Project Manager
  • At least 2 years experience in demonstrated understanding of Oracle /Cloud ERP / SCM concepts and general module functionality for financial accounting and supply chain
  • At least 5 years experience in the ability to clearly describe end-to-end business processes and the key integration points, work cross-functionally across different business processes within an organization, and knowledge of challenges faced by implementation teams


Preferred Tech and Prof Experience

  • At least 5 years consultancy experience working with supply chain systems
  • At least 24-36 months of experience in the completion of two full life-cycle implementations with Oracle Cloud SCM suite as a SME
  • At least 2 years experience in demonstrated understanding of Oracle Cloud SCM concepts and general module functionality
  • At least 5 years experience in the ability to clearly describe end-to-end business processes and the key integration points, work cross-functionally across different business processes within an organization, and knowledge of challenges faced by implementation teams
